Holiday and European travel go hand-in-hand. With so many different locations to choose from, one could get easily besieged with choices. A beautiful country that could be spent on holiday and a European travel trip is England for its beautiful countrysides and historic landmarks throughout the country. However, be sure to stop by London where one can see the Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Another country that comes to mind is Holland. Besides the usual visit to Amsterdam, one can visit the beautiful city of Rotterdam or the very historical city of Den Haag.
However, if a warmer climate is preferred then why not travel South to Italy. Italy could definitely be a made a holiday and European travel trip with its many famous locations. Some great picks would be Pompeii to visit the sites preserved from the volcano, Lucca for some great shopping, and a favorite, Siena which is surrounded by a wall so you couldn't get lost and leave the city. If one is up for a short distance, visit Palermo, Sicily and see the beautiful landscapes. If Italy isn't quite what is desired, why not travel to Spain. Spain has many regions to offer, but also has parks, the beautiful coasts, great city destinations like Granada, Madrid, and Barcelona, and of course the World Heritage Cities. While in Spain, why not stop over to Portugal. Portugal has beautiful beaches and islands not to mention great hospitality as well.
However, if there is a desire to see EuroDisney World then one must travel to France. France has many great things to offer and many historical landmarks as well. The most obvious choice of city to visit would be Paris with the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, and Notre Dame. And those are only a few of the beautiful places to visit while in the city. If Paris isn't appealing, then one should travel to Mont Blanc which is located in the in the Alps. It is known for skiing, mountain climbing, and hiking. However, if the mountains are not desired then travel to the city of Strasbourg which is located near the border of Germany. While visiting here, one can get a taste of both cultures with signs reading in French and German. There is the Black Forest to see along with the Rhine river. Shopping and restaurants are also a fun time. So while visiting Strasbourg, a traveler can get the best of two countries by spending a day across the Rhine river or through the Black Forest into Germany.
However, when an individual doesn't know where to go but wants to see many locations, a starting country is great to start with and then get a rail pass and visit other countries as well. This would provide a traveler with many options and countries to visit so a holiday and European travel can easily be made, but the choices are endless.
